Deep inside us all are the seeds of both love and hate.
It is a constant struggle as to which one will win.
Yet one cannot exist without the other.
Alicia has grown up in a village where survival and evil practices go hand in hand.
She possess powers to do "Only good" and looks to use her powers to benefit others, and as such she is looked upon by villagers as a "White Witch."
Let us take you on an amazing musical journey that will show how faith and self belief can transform her life and better the lives of those that surround her.

This is a family show suitable for children 7+, but of course they must be accompanied by an adult.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
If you want to dress for the immersive experience, then we’d love you to wear something wizardly wonderful. Champagne is always presented to the the Quirkiest Character! Dress how you want to - just enjoy!

SCENE Callington Village in early 16th century England.
To be seen to have power was to be feared.,and all feared those who had power, whether that power be monetary or
superstition.
THE CHURCH BELLS
Traditionally church bells ring out to summons those to congregate and await the commencing of an event.The bells are also believed by some to drive away the forces of evil.
THE WITCHES SPELL CHANT

This ancient chant is taken from original archives and is an arrangement of an actual witch's spell.
THE SEASON OF THE WITCH
Validus
The 'Wheel of the Year’ marks the annual cycle of seasonal celebrations, known as sabbats or esbats.

Tenebris
Tenebris is determined to maintain discipline within her coven.
Her power is legendary.
She wraps "The susceptible" into a web of malice.
FIRE
Ignisum
Prophesies that all in the village practicing black arts will inevitably burn. He knows that most are beyond change or reform.
RING AROUND THE ROSIE
Ensemble -and Alicia
This circular chanting dance, with the touching of hands, dates back to well before the 16h century.
A ring is formed, one person is placed in the centre, and all dance around.
BLACK MAGIC WOMAN
Malum
He has no interest in love - only possession.
He is both scared and infatuated withTenebris.

A witch's mind is evil but not narrow.
Their world is dark but still they see colour.
They see the uncorrupted, which only serves to emphasize their own depth of darkness.
THE MYSTERY OF ’THE WIZARDS DREAM’

Validus realises that his future is his to shape. He seeks ‘a new sun , light replacing darkness.
Both imagine they can hear the pull of Angels seeking a better destiny for their souls.

The cloaked figure is Malum.
Validus recognises the need for meaningful communication- what point is there in talking when no one listens? What point is there in writing songs when nobody looks to hear?

Alicia
Recognizing that “enough is enough,” Alicia wrestles with her conscience. She tries to persuade a disbelieving Tenebris that there's a better life out there, even though it is hard for her to believe that might be the case.

Alicia has started to believe that her visions can become reality, that belief can transcend possibility and faith create a platform for a new and meaningful life.

Validus and Alicia tell the world how a 'force from above' keeps ‘bad at bay’ and 'scares darkness away’.

Alicia, Tenebris and The Coven
Alicia's happiness is now radiant- lifting everyone's spirits including Tenebris.
She doesn’t want to end up "Living alone" "Living alone" in the darkness, but even darkness has a comforting familiarity.
DON’T LET ME BE MISUNDERSTOOD
Tenebris
She wants desperately to forget her dark history but knows that her “other side” is still there to be found.
Her regrets are sincere and she pleads for her guilt to be cleansed.

This actual spell is still considered essential for those who feel under magical attack, banishing negativity and presenting purification.

Together as a couple now, they regret not turning away from the darkside sooner.

The ensembles of white angels approve and the angelic choir chant accordingly.

For Alicia, a new life is just beginning.
Shackles now removed, she can experience the joy of freedom.
Tenebris is forgiven as forgiveness is the way of all those in the White Room.

The wizards sing that each breath and each moment can add new colour, until eventually a picture emerges just emphasising that the colours you choose are simply your own.
WHITER SHADE OF PALE
Validus, Alicia, Tenebris, MAlum,
Validus sings of life being an assembly of clips in our heads- capturing moments we enjoy, but allowing those that we choose to forget to pale into insignificance.
Deep inside all of us are the seeds of both love and hate.
What we do with them is up to us.
